First why do you even need this pressure washer accessory ?

So often people purchase a pressure washer and it gets damaged in some way during the winter when the o rings inside the pump that are in place to prevent leaks develop small cracks as a result of the dry air.

Bad right !

The number one way to prevent this is to put anti freeze inside your pump, this means that all winter your expensive pressure washer will be protected against cold temperature with this cheap accessory.People really over look this problem when storing their pressure washer and often it means another purchase of a washer as usually it is to expensive to repair the pump.

All that is involved here is to connect the small tube from the anti freeze can to the water inlet on your pressure washer until you start to see a small amount of the anti freeze flow out from the water outlet.

Now you should be careful when doing this as sometimes the anti freeze coming from the outlet can be under pressure so it may spray somewhere you certainly don’t want it to be sprayed like onto yourself or someone close by. When I do it I usually just put a bucket over the outlet to capture any spray.

If you have a gas powered pressure washer its also a good idea for storing over winter that you add an additive to the fuel to preserve it so it will still fire up the first time you want to use it again once the weather is right.

This video here will help to explain it a lot better.

And before you ask , Yes it is cheaper to use car anti freeze but its not advisable as this is more toxic than the RV anti freeze that is being used here. Plus its a lot easier to use this accessory.

Even though the can is small with most pumps you should be able to get 3 applications out of it. Its a small price to pay for something that will save you money in the long run.

I recommend this product and will always keep it on hand.

We purchased this to winterize our pressure washer and it did work. it had the exact amount in it that we needed and we saved money instead of buying it from Sears!

See what other people have to say about this Awesome Product

Since you payed so much on a pressure washer it’s too risky to leave your pump to chance. Most people who have lost a pump to frost damage swear to never take a chance again and always use something like this product. Most of us buy pressure washers for the speed and ease of use so a leaky pump isn’t going to be cleaning many driveways.
